I am a skilled software engineer with experience in front-end and back-end development. I currently work as a data scientist using modern machine learning techniques to detect fraud and anomalies for government clients. In addition, I have DevOps experience supporting, automating, and optimizing deployments for large websites.
Outside of professional pursuits, I have also involved myself in a variety of community organizations and teams. I actively participate in environmental activism organizations and I have a passion for adventure and activity, being an avid skier, hockey player, and triathlete. I also happen to be an enthusiastic salt & pepper shaker collector.

Data Analysis of Lifestyles and Preferences Based on Gender As a part of a team I analyzed data using pandas and numpy to determine how gender affected lifestyles/preferences in teenagers. We formed this analysis into a tutorial so that it could be used for teaching purposes. You can view the tutorial here.
Orders Processor: Using java I parsed a large amount of purchase orders from various clients to create a cohesive order summary, using multiple threads to improve processing time.
Shell Implementation: Implemented a shell in C that took complex command line arguments.
Clear Cell Game: Implemented back-end for a game that clears diagonal, horizontal, and vertical same-colored cells from a grid when clicked. Watch game demo
